Welcome to Saratoga
Saratoga, California is a beautiful residential area in the foothills of the Santa Cruz Mountains. This suburban town is known for its fantastic school system and peaceful small-town feel. Frequently ranked by Forbes as one of America’s most educated towns, Saratoga is an excellent place to call home.
Originally inhabited by the Ohlone Native American tribe, Saratoga was settled by Europeans in 1847. The town was developed with the construction of a sawmill, a toll road, and a post office and was home to many factories in the late 19th century. Originally known for being primarily agricultural, Saratoga experienced its transformation into a typical American suburb after World War II.

California ranch-style houses are popular in the area, as well as sprawling upscale estates. High-end housing is also available in the Golden Triangle Area.
